From Music to Movement
What began as a way to create t-shirts and hoodies I actually wanted to wear soon became something more. People started asking about the designs. DJs, clubbers and friends wanted them.
Before long, I was producing merchandise for my own record labels - selling at club nights, through email lists, and the early days of social media, long before streetwear was a category and before “drops” became marketing language.
Those early designs weren’t about fashion.
They were about identity.
Adrenaline, Action & the SEND IT Mentality
As Wrong Design evolved, so did the influences behind it.
Alongside music, a deep love for action sports and adrenaline culture became a huge part of the brand’s DNA:
- Cycle Speedway
- Mountain Biking
- BMX & Skate
- Motorcycle Speedway
- Skiing & Snowboarding
- Surfing
These sports share the same mindset - commitment, risk, momentum, and going all in.
That energy naturally fed into a range of designs inspired by the SEND IT mentality.
Not reckless - but committed.
No half-measures. No hesitation.
It’s about backing yourself and following through.
Launching Wrong Design Clothing Co
A few years later, the vision became clearer:
to properly build an independent UK clothing brand focused on statement graphic t-shirts that reflected music, movement, and attitude.
Wrong Design Clothing Co was launched as a place where all of those influences could live together - without compromise.
Every design comes from something real:
- A moment
- A mindset
- Or a lifestyle that values doing, not watching
If it doesn’t feel authentic, it doesn’t get made.
Wearing the Brand
As Wrong Design grew, something interesting started to happen.
People weren’t just asking about individual designs anymore - they were asking about the brand itself. They wanted Wrong Design tees that featured the logos, marks, and mottos that represented the mindset behind everything else.
That shift led to the development of the Wrong Design branded t-shirt range.
These pieces are simpler by design:
- Clean graphics
- Subtle logos
- Recognisable mottos
They’re not about statements aimed outward - they’re about alignment.
Wearing a Wrong Design branded tee isn’t about advertising.
It’s about recognising the mindset behind the brand and choosing to stand with it.
More Than a Logo
The Wrong Design logo and mottos represent everything the brand was built on:
- Independence
- Creative freedom
- Movement over stagnation
- Commitment over hesitation
For some, a bold graphic says everything.
For others, the brand itself is the message.
Both belong here.
Why Statement T-Shirts Matter
Mass-produced high street t-shirts are designed to appeal to everyone - which usually means they stand for nothing.
Wrong Design graphic t-shirts are different.
They’re made for people who:
- Live slightly outside the mainstream
- Are driven by passion, not approval
- Appreciate clothing that says something quietly but clearly
They’re statement tees for people who understand the message without needing it explained.
Independent, UK-Focused, Built to Last
Wrong Design Clothing Co is an independent UK clothing brand, producing graphic t-shirts and apparel with quality and longevity in mind.
This isn’t fast fashion.
It’s slow, considered, and intentional.
Smaller runs. Better garments. Designs that hold up - both physically and creatively.
What Comes Next
Wrong Design continues to evolve organically - shaped by music, action sports, culture and life - while staying true to why it started.
If you live for momentum, believe in backing yourself, and appreciate clothing that reflects that mindset, you’re in the right place.
